Westchester Park Apartments

Overall, pretty good apartment. Wasn't the cleanest when I moved in, but it's quiet, I can focus on my work. Close enough to campus for a short commute, far enough away that campus activities don't impact living.

The apartment itself is nice and the area is great if you are looking for somewhere quiet and calm. It is a mixture of couples, single people, and families. The only issue with the place is that it is a little older, so there were several maintenance issues I have come across in my first few months. But the maintenance people are very good about coming to fix the problems and are super kind and helpful.

The apartment itself is average. I enjoy living away from campus and student life. I have no interaction with the property owners, but those who work in the main office are extremely nice and helpful. I can hear everything in the apartment above me, which is frustrating. I also don't have an in-unit washer and dryer, which is frustrating. Overall, the apartment is average.

There's 2 pools, a tennis court, an exercise gym, and accessible walkways between apartment complexes. It's about a 10-12 minutes drive to campus so it's close by, but not too close where you'll run into campus traffic all the time.

These apartments are on the west side of town which is a pretty quiet area. There is quick access to Dillons and Target which is nice. I felt like the rent was a little expensive for a one bedroom apartment, but the complex does have a pool and small gym as well as a tennis court. It's also right down the street from a dog park. They were typically pretty quick with maintenance request and easy to work with.

A few families and a lot of young adults living here. Nice neighborhoods near by to walk in or run in

This safe community hosts a diverse group of residents ranging from KState students, faculty, young families, and military personnel. Likewise, Westchester's respectful and professional office and maintenance staff are very responsive to the needs of all residents. The property features a small, 24 hour onsite gym, two pools, a tennis court, and several BBQ grills.

My wife and I have really enjoyed living here. We will probably spend our entire time in Manhattan living here, which is going to be about 4 years. The management team is great. The maintenance team is also great. They are both very responsive and quick to address your concerns. The only downfall, and it’s not a huge deal, is that I don’t have a place to safely store my grill. Other than that, I have no complaints.
