Great location, responsive management!
I’ve been living at this spot in East Liberty since first year of Med school (am now a 4th year). The building is old but all of the apartments have been renovated and are clean. Neighbors are quiet (very much a family apartment complex) but building faces a major road so you’ll be hearing sirens, car horns, and general rambunctiousness especially at night. Management is very responsive and sends a mechanic same-day to fix anything. Rent is cheap considering the area, I live with one roommate and there is more than enough space. No pets allowed which is a downside! Shared laundry with the building.
Bus stop to campus is right across the street, free street parking (always available), and coffee shops/groceries/libraries/gyms/restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
