I love my apartment! It is a beautiful, modern 3-unit house right on South Highland Avenue in Shadyside. I definitely pay above the typical Pittsburgh rent ($950/month plus utilities), but I have a ton of space, natural light, a balcony, and in-unit washer/dryer/dishwasher/central AC etc. Living in Shadyside has been a wonderful experience, and the location of this apartment could not be better. I don't have a car, but I am walking distance from Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Walgreens, Giant Eagle, and more. I am also a one-minute walk to the bus stop, which makes getting to school super easy.
