Worth the price
I live in a studio apartment in Hue (connected to Chroma apartments). The building is under 10 years old, which is bounds better than most old properties in Stl. The area is safe and I feel like I get my money’s worth.
Top features that drew me to the property:
Gated parking garage
Key fob entry for all doors
Stainless steel appliances
In unit washer & dryer
Gym
Pool & spa
Dog park

Management is Inefficient but Friendly
Nice, new building, decent gym, no pest issues, maintenance can be slow as can management, but they are nice. Garage door has been broken for months and because of insurance claims the property has been going back and forth with the person who broke it. It's annoying we pay for a secure garage and parking space still without that sense of security currently present. Additionally, they haven't fixed my mailbox in 6 months because they say its UPS fault, but they do at least, slowly, collect my mail for me. Management switched after I signed the lease but before I moved in, and I was not made aware some utilities would be my separate responsibility through Ameren, but again that was on old management. Overall, it is pricy, but not outrageous, and I am generally happy here.
