1235 Granville
The apartment is beautiful, and the property is a private Condo complex, rather than an apartment complex, so the units have a 'sturdier' feel to them (and the HOA is very responsive). The kitchen is spacious and beautiful, and the smallest bedroom still comfortably fits a queen bed with dressers and desk. We have a balcony, 2-car parking space, and our location is outrageously convenient. There is a rooftop (albeit unfurnished) that can see out to the ocean on a clear day.
My only knocks on the place are: 1) The A/C in our unit is very loud, but the unit is very quiet. To keep from fluctuating from pin-drop silence to loud white-noise, we run the fan all the time, which can be a bit annoying without high quality TV speakers, etc. 2) The bedroom doors are slightly mis-fit to the frames, so there is not great sound filtration. Our group of roommates are fairly respectful, so it is not terrible, but when schedules mismatch it becomes a bit annoying. Ironically, the loud A/C does help this problem.
