Peak Properties-Woodlawn

Absolutely love the apartment. It's about a 20 minute walk to the law school and 5 minutes from Hyde Park Produce. It has in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and central HV/AC. For the price, there is nothing better in Hyde Park. There's also a parking lot right behind the building for $100/month. Haven't had many problems but when we've called, management had been very responsive. It's not perfect; my actual room is a bit small and we're in the basement so there's not much natural light. But, I've yet to meet someone who's been to our place and hasn't been jealous of what we have for what we pay.

Great Space and Location

The brownstones north of the law school are a great option for students. My roommates and I pay the lowest rent I know of in my class, we have a ton of room for entertaining, and we are a 15-20 minute walk from the law school.

I was not involved in the apartment search process since my roommate handled it. Therefore, I cannot speak to the ease of finding a similar apartment as opposed to living in a larger development (Regents, Shoreland, etc). My roommate says it was pretty straight forward, though.
