Great place - a little expensive

Definitely older units - but very spacious and they are in the process of updating them. The water bills are very high because they don't have individual meters for each unit and just split the bill between the buildings. Otherwise has great management and is a safe place to live.

Decent and not too expensive

Hickory Knoll is a fine location. takes about 10 min to get to UAB without traffic. Buildings are pretty old and the management has not been very speedy about repairs. sometimes hard to find parking close to my apartment. very good value though, if you have roommates. And feels very safe
