Expensive
The apartment is an older one that has been lazily renovated. The floor is uneven in some places, indicating water damage. Phone service is worse in the building. Parking is expensive ($175) per month. It is underground but that is still a high price, especially since the parking lot is very small and hard to park in. Lastly, the doors are not properly set, so it takes work to lift and pull them, plus they can be loud. It does have a dishwasher, which is good because I don't pay for water.

Good but expensive
My condo is great, it's just far from campus and is more expensive given the neighbourhood.

Generally good
It's a very secure building not too far away from the IU campus.

Quiet building in Logan Square
This building is high on amenities and community (just not Wharton community). It’s also located direcly above a trolley station which made traveling to class a breeze since it’s farther than rittenhouse locations.

Every morning I wake up to the construction works screaming for no reason whatsoever. Really helps me save money on alarm clocks! We’re never lonely in this apartment since we make friends with all the roaches in the kitchen that the lovely boys from before left behind. We never need to move when we have to ask each other sometime since the walls are paper thin we can just talk to each other like we’re in the same room! It’s even better when we have classes at the same time especially with a dance and vocal major upstairs! We have no need for an AC in the living room since our window is cracked from when our landlord broke it a few months ago so all the air (and flys!) come in from there! Also the old light fixtures from the 1970s hanging onto the ceiling by a thread really help give off the chic vintage aesthetic. Also we play a fun game of scare the shit out of your roommate since the light switches for our rooms are outside in the hallway! Couldn’t ask for a better place! 🥰
