Mediocre at Best
As long as you're not living in the main building, it's relatively quiet, though you can definitely hear ambulances going to UCI Medical. Guest parking is a nightmare. If you have a one bedroom unit, it only comes with one parking spot. If you plan on living with a partner in a one bedroom unit, you will have to deal with guest parking, which is awful. There's maybe 30 guest parking spots and trying to get an extra spot puts you on a waitlist. I was on the waitlist for the first 6 months of my lease and it was incredibly annoying. Maintenance is great and the complex is clean. Very close to Chapman; maybe 10 minute drive to parking structure.

Renaissance at Uptown Orange
Great spot fairly close to school. The only problem is there is almost no guest parking so it's hard to have friends over.

Positive Experience but Very Expensive
I really like this apartment. It is across the street from the housing for Chapman so I can take the shuttle. I give an 8 because of the parking. Guest parking here is terrible. It is nonexistent most of the time. My first year here I had 1 spot for a unit with 2 cars. It was constant search for parking and I would have to plan things around parking often. A second parking spot is $50 a month. The unit is tiny, but updated. Maintenance is very responsive and kind. The amenities are nice.

Nice Place Overall
It’s about an 8 minute drive to school which is awesome. Apartment only comes with one assigned parking spot so that can become a little tricky if living with someone. Cat rent is an extra $50 per month. Maintenance is really great, leasing office staff can be a little aloof.

Pricey, but good location
My apartment is a bit expensive, but with roommates, it is affordable. This complex is within a 5 minute walk of Panther village, so I take the shuttle to and from school. This is due to the fact that parking at school could be difficult, but also because parking here can be an issue. You get one spot per bedroom. There are guest spots, but they are only abundant during certain times of day. (9am-2pm). This was frustrating at times, but manageable with the shuttle being my main transportation to school. (there is a waiting list for additional spots, but I just got a second parking spot after living here nearly a year).
Maintainance is responsive and friendly. The leasing office puts on many events. The grounds are beautiful and there are many pet owners. I have an emotional Support Animal- and the paperwork process was a breeze compared to past experiences.
The kitchen is updates with gas stoves and the bathroom is spacious. There are two closets in the main bedroom, a closet in the entry, and a closet in the bathroom. There is in unit laundry and a balcony on every unit. I have never heard any neighbors unless my windows are open or if I am standing by the front door. The windows are thick so I hear limited traffic noises, especially for being so close to the freeway.
The amenities include two gyms, clubhouses, and two pools. There are also outdoor barbecue areas. The gyms hosts fitness classes every week for no additional charge. The complex is gated by a remote to gain access. It feels secure and I have not had any issues with security.
