Great Location but Lots of Noise
The location of Fielder Square is very convenient if you work or go to school downtown. The building itself is very safe and the neighbors are kind and quiet. Maintenance is responsive and the leasing office staff are very kind. However, you have to be mindful that you are living downtown. It is very noisy, especially if you live in the building off Union. There are lots of loud motorcycles, cars, and constant sirens. You will often hear gunshots. There is drag racing, burn outs, and a lack of police response to curtailing it. The rent is cheap compared to other places, but you also have to weigh that with your ability to sleep and rest well in peace.

So Convenient
If you want a safe and fun place to live, I highly recommend Fielder Square. It is right near downtown, and there is always something going on! I have definitely watched my fair share of soccer/baseball games from my own balcony :) It is also a 5 minute drive from the UT campus, and walking distance from the new park and plenty of food spots.

Fielders square
I have lived here for 3 years now. The apartments are nice and prices are comparable to other apartments in the area. We got new management and they are not my favorite but would be fine. Maintenance is always very very fast to respond to problems. I always feel safe here, they employ a security guard to sit outside at night so that always makes me feel better

Very good apartment
I really enjoyed the Fielder's Square.
Some things to pay attention to:
1) Location
If you really like baseball or soccer, this is the place for you! There is a Fielder's Square VIP area with grills and picnic tables that backs up to the stadium outfield. (literally right on the field)
The trade off of having such nice sporting events is the foot traffic (there are tons of people moving around at all times of the day) and crime (which I will talk about below)
2) Parking
Parking is free if I remember correctly (or maybe its a one time payment) and you get guest parking which is nice.) Its a gated garage that connects to one of the buildings/is a less than a block from the other buildings. I never had any issues in the garage. Be careful when coming around corners because people really move through the garage quickly.
3) Crime
I really didn't have an issue with crime overall. As long as you mind your business and don't act a fool you should be good. Just remember you are downtown.
4) Walking Distance to Beale Street
5) Dog Park
There is an attached dog park in the back of the building.
6) Management
Management was always super respectful and pleasant to work with.
I didn't get my security deposit back (which was expected because of pet damage) but they still were very kind.
7) Gym
The gym wasn't spectacular but it's there.

I like it
Fielder Square has been a great home to me the past 3 years. I like all the office workers and maintenance workers because they are very friendly and get things done quickly. The location of Fielder Square is also fantastic, you are a short walk away from many restaurants and bars and right in the outfield of Autozone Park. This can be a downside sometimes however due to the field lights at night, but with some curtains this would not be that big of a deal. Being located right on Union Ave there can also be a lot of noise on the weekends. Overall, I think this apartment is fantastic.

A great downtown apartment complex
Lots of fun activities at no additional cost for residents like food trucks, block parties, pool parties etc. Plus we have our own viewing deck in the outfield of Autozone park so free access to watch Redbirds games and 901 Football Club games and a great viewing deck for fireworks in the summer. The gym is pretty small but its right around the corner from the YMCA which just had a huge new renovation and is walking distance to Beale and a ton of good restaurants and bars. Plus its probably the best apartment complex downtown in terms off parking with a secure garage that is exclusively for residents.

Fielders Square
While Fielders Square is a little expensive (not much more compared to everywhere else), it is in a great location. We have a dog and love the dog park they have at the apartment. They have covered parking and key fob entry to all doors so it is safe and secure.

Love it!
I've lived in the same unit for three years and have no complaints! It's a great location, the staff is awesome, and a very nice place to live overall. The parking and building security is the best in Memphis, in my opinion.

Nice distance to school
I chose Fielder Square based on the close distance to campus and the short lease as I was only in Memphis for P1 fall. There is covered and gated parking and the apartments are secured by a key fob entry at the main door. I can’t speak much to the amenities as many were closed due to COVID but there is a gym and pool and others.

Close to school
I chose to live at Fielder Square due to its close distance to campus. They do have a covered parking garage, and the building is secured by access fob or code.
