Good Family Apartment

Affordable and in a great location. Would definitely recommend for families. The office is not great but everything else has been fine.

Good for Students

Pros: It is extremely affordable, spacious, very close to the school, comes with a covered parking spot, has on site laundry, maintenance crew is great

Cons: It is owned by HSL and they are a corporation that doesn't care very much, we have had cockroaches (common in AZ) for over a month and they've done very little to help. Before the cockroach problem I would have recommended them as a 10/10. Now I would say it's only worth it for school since it is hard to find cheap and safe places close to the school.

Not perfect but a nice place close to campus

I've been really happy with Cottonwood so far. Distance to campus is great, cost is within our price range, and the apartments are totally fine. The only cons I've found are: no in-unit washer/dryer, bad sound proofing in the ceiling/floor (wall sound proofing, however, is great), some problems with flies getting in during monsoon season, and repairs can take a while to get addressed. The repairs thing is probably the biggest issue and it just has to do with how the managing company hires maintenance people and how many they have on site. The super busy maintenance people are always really friendly and professional once they can address the problem.

Pretty good

It’s an older complex but it has great management. They are responsive to issues. And they have quite large apartments for the price. It is also close to campus.

Great location for students

The apartments are spacious and comfortable, and the location is great if you are a u of a student. You could bike to the law school on the protected 3rd Street Bike Boulevard, about a 2 mile ride each way. Maintenance can be slow and management a bit involved. But the property has two pools and is pet friendly.
