Rio Cancion Apartments
Definitely not worth renting a “premium” unit as the only changes include a different stain color on the cabinets and black appliances. Quick maintenance for any needed repairs. Walls are completely sound proof (I couldn’t hear my neighbor playing their electric guitar next door). 3 pools, a gym, tennis court, volleyball court all included. Plenty of parking including 1 covered space. Right next to the Rillito River walk for all your exercise needs.

Our little family loves it at Rio Cancion!
We rent a townhouse at Rio Cancion and have been pretty happy with our choice! The amenities and floor plan are by far the best parts. With three pools, three hot tubs, a gym, tennis courts, a sauna, steam room, and access to the river walk, the complex has a lot to do. We love being in North Tucson, just 15 minutes from the law school but away from the craziness of campus. We pay quite a bit more than we'd like, but it's comparatively cheaper than other "luxury" rentals in the area. Our only complaint is that the walls are thin. We've had gotten new neighbors since we've moved in and the old ones were much louder than the new ones- so the noise is hit or miss. We've had one maintenance issue in the last year and it was fixed the next day. Other residents have complained about the management company, but our experience has been positive.

Good
I like the complex, however the walls are very thin, so it's easy to hear neighbors.

The Best for a Family Student
My wife and I have a daughter. The apartment complex is fantastic. It is gated which is nice for Tucson. It has three pools, lots of other young families. The other tenants are always really nice. The management is fantastic, once you sign up with them, they will bend over backwards for you. They have great rates, and its a quick bike or drive to the law school (I have done both). They have a dog park, tennis courts, basketball court (outdoor), and a small gym, which are all great. The floor plans are nice and spacious. It is by far the best experience we have had renting. I would not recommend staying anywhere else. This is the place to be.
