Nice but expensive

The apartment is in a good location. It is close to UH and many jobs, fairly walkable to cafes and entertainment like discovery green and toyota center, but not necessarily the safest area. However, the apartment has 24/7 concierge and security. Maintenance is reliable but there are usually elevator problems. It is a luxury apartment, so the prices are high, but you can get a steal on some of the floor plans at the right time or splitting with roommates. $40 amenity fee and $15 trash fee every month makes things more expensive, but free parking and plenty of parking for guests too in the garage. I first signed to my studio for under $1,400/month and my rent is now over $1,500/month, but I also got a deal on a month’s rent for resigning, so ultimately things even out.
