Some problems with pests and roaches. But you can have pest control come to your apartment every week. Management is usually responsive. I would probably move somewhere closer. The commute is literally 30 minutes one way.

I have enjoyed living at the Blairs! Very pet friendly and wonderful location. I only wish neighbors were more social and there were more events dedicated to getting to know your neighbors. I would highly recommend the Blairs to people with pets. Very pet friendly and it is nice to have so many per owners in the building.

I love living at the Blairs. The location is great, the people are wonderful, and they cater to families and pet owners. The grocery store is across the parking lot, and Metro is across the street. I've been here 3 years, can't beat the price. I've looked other places each year my lease is up, and continue to stay.

The Blairs are in a great location in silver spring, and are very close to a metro station, which is not negotiable for me. The concierges are very friendly, and I always feel safe. The management sends way too many emails and the gym is definitely below average.

The Blairs is located right next to grocery store and metro station. The building has a 24/7 concierge that will accept your packages. Parking is an extra $90 per month and pets are additional $35 per month.

The kitchen is brand new and bathroom is as well. The bedroom and living room/ dining room are very spacious.

You don't get to control if you have A/C or heat on. You can control the temperature, but the building manager will switch it between heat and a/c. So in May you are DYING with the heat still on and its 85 degrees outside and in October you are FREEZING with the A/C still on.

I have never felt unsafe, and I am only 5 minutes walk from the metro. The concierges are mostly very nice and maintenance is usually very prompt. One thing that gets a little annoying is the number of emails that get sent out per day. Still, the rooms are nice and spacious, although I wish the kitchens were bigger.

I work in DC and it's really convenient to get into the city everyday. Also, the gym is really nice, although sometimes too crowded. The front desk is 24h, so don't have to worry about package delivery or pick up, forget you keys, etc. Overall, it's a good place.

I very much enjoy living at the Blairs! There are lots of different community events and the staff is very nice! A very dog friendly community, the only down side is that there are not many places to walk your dog. It would be nice if all buildings in the community had equal amenities and if the pool was open, but it is gone because of new construction.

The Blairs has always been a convenient and affordable option in the downtown silver spring area, but in the past few years, they've upped it even more! There's monthly social events, breakfasts, food truck fairs, and weekly work out options. The gyms in each building are accessible by tenants of all the buildings. The staff are friendly and courteous, and with the grocery store and other restaurants being steps away, there's really no better community set up than the Blairs.
