Look out for the Car policy
The apartment was clean, and has been relatively quite, but they have a fairly restrictive car policy in which you cannot apply if your car has rust, missing paint or blatant dents/damage. The worst part about this is they can tow your car if your it does not meet this policy. Additionally despite the fact that it is a gated community the gates have been left open for a majority of the time I have lived there.

The Biltmore Apartments Review
Affordable housing

It's cheap. But you don't want to live here.
I lived in this complex for 2 years because it was just about the cheapest thing I could find. But I hated it. My apartment was so dark that it felt like a cave. I had constant infestations of roaches, moths, and other kinds of bugs, which I could never get rid of. Water leaked through the walls every time it rained. Water leaked through my kitchen and bathroom ceiling every time my neighbor took a shower. My maintenance requests were ignored for months on end. There was no hot water most of the time, and I had to start keeping jugs of drinking water around for all the times when the whole water system would unexpectedly be turned off. I couldn't use my AC or heat because my neighbors' cigarette smoke came in through all the vents. And when I decided not to renew my lease, the apartment management tried to manipulate me into paying extra fees. And they raise the rent every year--even though they don't fix or improve anything. Don't live here. Live someplace better.
