AMLI at Bellevue Park

I just moved out of AMLI, but without a doubt this was one of my favorite places to live.

Views: I was in the East building with an apartment facing East. I had a partial view of the park and the downtown skyline and enjoyed the view daily. You can see neighboring balconies, but in a year I never saw anyone on theirs.

Location: You're next to super clean and safe downtown park. Shopping is also close, and excellent restaurants are even closer. We liked walking to the lake which is hidden only a couple blocks away.

Management: Everyone I've met from AMLI has been professional, friendly, and attentive. They're respectful of your privacy, but they do get to know you as if you're a neighbor.

Move-in/out: Completely painless. My girlfriend injured herself around the time of our move making things tough. We paid a fair price for a cleaning service offered by AMLI and got our deposit back minus final bills. Easy... So we can enjoy more of our new home and not worry about the old.

Events: AMLI frequently holds tenant events. Football parties, happy hours, BBQ... Awesome way to know your neighbors and get involved. You learn about these through email and courtesy bulletins in the elevator.

Comfort: a little warm in the summer. Had fans going a lot especially when cooking... But there's a pool. Winter was just right.

Noise: Never heard a single stomp on the floor or pounding on the wall. I did sometimes hear some kids in the hall and local construction did occur frequently during daylight hours (welcome to Bellevue). The park sometimes has events... The windows will block out the noise well.

Maintenance: If you stay somewhere long enough, you're bound to break something. In our case, a few things... We sent a service request online and it was sometimes fixed that day. Other times, the next day.

Ammenities: There's a resident lounge, not really my place... I like to relax in my own apartment, but it was nice and had a coffee machine, TV, PCs. The gym was incredible though. It's rarely crowded and well equipped. The pool didn't work for a long time, but it does now. Most importantly, in a year, I lost 45 pounds in that gym and trained for my first half marathon. Has your gym done that for you? It's in the garage, you have no excuse!

If it aligned better with our lives/goals/routine, we would still be at AMLI. It's a great place to live and I already miss calling it home.
