UCLUB AVOID
AM A KSU STUDENT and have been a resident here for almost two years now and let me tell you... I would not recommend this place to any of my friends nor KSU students. Below I have listed the pros and CONS of this place.
The Pros:
1. Close to KSU and has a BOB bus stop.
2. Has little giveaways and free food sometimes in office
The Cons / Problems I have experienced:
1. Since 2022, they advertise as a "gated community" which the gates are broken 90% of the time. Also, then the gates are working you can't have any guest over due to the management not having your code in the gate system to people in. I personally have been trying with the office to get a "code" for over two years and yet to have received one. When they said it would be fixed back in September 2022.
2. They also advertise as having "two pools and hot tubs" which were also closed majorly of my time living here due to whatever reason they state. It was closed all 2023 summer when college student use the pool most.
3. The bugs!
4. The dog poop, no picks it up and management does not care.
5. The office management employees favorite catchphrase when their is an issue with something is "oh it will be fixed by the end of next week" if I had a dollar every time they said that, I could have paid a months rent. When of course the issue would not be fixed by the end of next week.
6. The rent has gone up 250$ since I have live here and I released in 2023. You would think since you're a loyal resident they would lower your rate, incorrect.
7. They have a study room which is amazing, however they advertise as 24/7 but the lights turn off every 15 seconds which you have to go turn back on. You can't study in the dark! This issue has been going on for a couple months and guess what..."oh the issue will be fixed by the end of next week" .... still not fixed.
Overall, it your choice of living but from my personal experience of living here for TWO YEARS, I would not recommend.
Don't let the office employees or tour guide fool you, hope this help your future student's college living experience.

Close to campus, far from perfect
The upside is definitely proximity to campus, and overall student oriented atmosphere. However, the downside is the student life itself that consists of impossibly noisy people, apathetic staff, and only relatively well kept premises. The housing is good enough for the price, but sadly you get what you pay for, but possibly with cleaning charges tacked on.
