MAA Uptown Post Village
Good area to walk and run but the apartment lacks an elevator which is not fun living on the 4th floor and laundry is on the first. That is my only complaint but rent rate reflects that you do not have laundry or elevator.

Great Place To Live
The only thing I would change is have an attached parking garage. However, the parking is not far, the area is well lit, and I am always comfortable. Ten minute drive to SMU. Would recommend to any future student.

Get what you pay for
It is an older apartment complex and could use updating, but the location is great and the rent is reasonable for the area. It does come with a gym and pool area for residents but it is pretty small. Management has always been helpful and it has been safe.

Apartment is great for the location and affordability!
Post Uptown Village has been a great place to live! The staff is helpful and maintenance is very quick if needed. The apartment comes with washer/dryer connections and a laundry facility downstairs. I absolutely love my balcony and pool view! I haven't had any issues with noise complaints or safety. My only complaint is that I wish the cabinetry and countertops were updated and more natural sunlight as many of our windows open up to the apartment hallway. The common areas feature Gatsby style lighting and relaxing sitting areas that adds to the place's glamour as well.

Post Uptown Village
Post Uptown Village is a pretty old complex. The actual units are outdated, but the location in the heart of State Thomas, with extremely close access to downtown is unbeatable. State Thomas as an area is really nice because you can walk to McKinney, or bars within ST. You also feel like you're in a neighborhood instead of an urban location.

Great Location and beautiful layouts
I've lived here for almost 3 years now, and don't plan on moving! The location is amazing. I walk to tons of restaurants and bars. It's also right off the free trolley line, which I take into Downtown for work. The layout is very well planned and all appliances are stainless steal and up to date! It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's well worth the location and property! I would definitely recommend!

Oak Lawn Reviews
This is a very active neighborhood with a bar scene on the weekends. There are homeless people who live around here, but they have never bothered me. While I wouldn't call it a dangerous neighborhood, there is probably a little more crime than some larger complexes such as the Village.
