Overall rating 7.4/10, based on 20 renter reviews Write a review
Overall nice place
The rooms vary widely depending on what corner/floor/unit you end up getting. I was fortunate to get south facing windows which provides incredible amounts of light. Also very pet friendly! Cats are free :)
Only thing is it has a cockroach issue and is located right next to a sketchy side street which I'd avoid. Otherwise great security at the front desk.

Close by and Safe
I love this apartment because it's very close to UArts, and they have a 24/7 front desk. No one is allowed to come to your apartment without signing downstairs. Also, packages or groceries never get lost because we get texts or emails about your delivery, and the front desk keeps it until you come and pick it up.

Affordable studios in great location
This complex is filled with several small studios which are insanely affordable for the Midtown Village/Gayborhood neighborhood. Utilities are included in the rent except wifi (for now, they're adding 100mbps wifi thru Comcast for every unit starting in April 2022), which really reduces housing costs. Only thing you're responsible for besides rent is renter's insurance.
Location is fantastic - surrounded by so much restaurants/bars and very close walking distance to both subway lines (BSL, MFL) so that you can easily commute to Temple and explore other neighborhoods. Very dense and walkable neighborhood so all of your daily needs don't require car. Management is nice and responsive.
The units tend to be small with tiny kitchenettes, so if you like to cook a lot/need more space it might not be the greatest option. There are larger 400sqft units with bigger kitchenettes but tend to be more expensive (still MUCH cheaper than surrounding studios in the neighborhood). Most units don't have central air or dishwasher, but they typically provide window AC unit. Apartments also get surprisingly warm during winter months without needing to turn on heater. Amenities are solid, laundry room in basement as well as decent gym.
Overall, for the price and location it's a great option and ideal for students or anyone wanting to live alone on a tighter budget.

The Arts Condominium General Review
Depending on the apartment review may vary, nice management, nice gym, nice washers and dryers on the lower level.

Great apartment
Overall a great place. Good security at front desk. Central location, only 7 minute walk to the hospital. Have been great with COVID precautions. Great natural light. Landlord super responsive and helpful.

Studio Apartment Outside the Bubble
Small studio apartment. Does not have much of a kitchen, but I don't cook anyways. It is a few blocks away from Rittenhouse, so it can feel like it is far away from everyone else, but it is close to some favorite Wharton hangouts.

Great apartments
Center city apartments can be really hit or miss. The Arts are a perfect place for students. It's a few blocks from campus and there's a great study room in the basement where my classmates and I can spread out and study outloud. The only tricky part is getting packages sometimes; the security desk is always staffed, but it seems like there can be a delay from when it's supposed to be delivered and when I hear about it.

Great location makes up for quality of apartment
Our apartment is very outdated and contains a tiny kitchen without an exhaust fan of any kind. Though this seems like a fire hazard and the apartment is generally old and falling apart, I would recommend this building for its location alone. It is centrally located, very walkable and convenient to Patco and Septa. The units are individually owned, so it is possible that quality is better in other units.

Midtown Village Reviews
The area is filled with lots of young people. I don't feel unsafe walking around even at night because there are people out all the time. There are a couple of narrow streets I probably wouldn't walk through though.
