Average apartment

The building is very old, which adds charm. However, some areas are in need of maintenance to keep them in a good state of repair. Management is hands-off, which is good in some respects, but it also means maintenance requests take a while. Overall, it's a middle of the road option.

Good neighborhood, spacious bedroom

The apartment is in a good neighborhood on the Upper West Side, and the bedroom is quite spacious. The kitchen and living room are a bit small for a three bedroom, though. The super is unresponsive, and the management company is only slightly better. Quick walk to the 1 train, easy walk to the B, C, 2, and 3 trains. Commuting to NYU from the apartment gets old very quickly. Not having a washer/dryer in the building is quite inconvenient.
