Great value
Oak Park apartments are nice, clean, and quiet. It isn’t fancy, but the price reflects that. It has everything you need and is a short bus ride from campus.

Excellent for the Price
Maybe it’s because my last apartment experience was a nightmare, but I really love this place. It’s only a 15min bus ride (30min walk/8min drive) to campus and has large affordable floor plans with good layouts. It’s a little older and has some minor issues, but the management is fabulous & maintenance always fixes things same-day (with actual fixes instead of just patch-overs). Only problem is that the walls/ceilings are very thin - I sometimes have to use a fan to drown out neighbor noise. Would be a really good complex for roommates.

Oak Park is Great
Oak Park has been a great experience. The management office is very responsive. My rent only increased $25 for my second year. It's an awesome location near Hyde Park shops and restaurants and close to UT.

Great location, good for the value
I've lived in my apartment for 2 years. The draw of this complex is definitely its central location in Hyde Park. It's an older building without luxury amenities, but prices are reasonable for a one-bedroom. The floor plans are spacious with lots of storage. Management and maintenance is fairly responsive and has improved significantly in the few years that I've been here.
