Great park for dogs, lots of dogs in this building. Close to everything on South Congress without paying higher prices to live actually on South Congress. Walking distance to HEB which is great. Maintenance is always quick and helpful.

The District at Soco
Great value in a cool neighborhood. Walking distance to HEB grocery store and a variety of restaurants including Soco area. Right at high frequency transit nexus of both east west and north south routes. Management and maintenance here is top notch! Any time that I've had a problem, the maintenance team has fixed it within 12-24 hours.

Decent Location, New Apts, Value
I've been living at the District at Soco for three years now, and I'm typically very picky about my living situation and/or management companies. The folks in the office at the District are always very helpful and happy to answer any questions or concerns. When I re-signed my lease after one year, my rent was only increased by $5 a month. After re-signing my lease for a second time, my fiance and I moved into a spacious 2 bed / 2 bath apartment. For only $1900, we have two walk-in closets in the master bedroom, an extra walk-in closet in the guest room/ office, and tons and tons of storage space. We love it. It isn't downtown, but is only an 8 minute commute to downtown in the morning / evenings, and a $5 Uber ride on the weekends. Well-worth the savings.

District At Soco
Very friendly staff and quick maintenance help, beautiful pool all summer with friendly neighbors, two outdoor grills, and a small but decent gym. My studio is just enough room for me and my boyfriend to hang out in. He has his own place, so a studio for one person works great. Kitchen and living room attached, with big windows and a nice view of the courtyard.
I would definitely recommend living here!

Location is Everything
I wanted to be extremely close to my office downtown and stubled upon the DISTRICT while driving South Congress. The location is great as the area is definitely improving. I would say that it is a little steep in price for what you get but overall been a pleasant experience. My favorite part about my place is the amazing kitchen and patio!

Awesome location, but overpriced
The location is good, apartments are fairly new and the amenities are normal.
I do not enjoy living right next to a McDonalds and a very old retail plaza, but it is a very accessible and convenient location, just a few minutes from downtown and I-35.
Also, I never have cell reception in my unit or walking through the hallways, I actually had to move units due to having NO cell signal. The previous unit I lived in was a 500 sf studio, which I do not recommend renting. Starts getting claustrophobic after a while since the floor plan is not distributed at its bets.
For the price you're paying (not cheap at all), you're better off somewhere else.
