Central Place
A little bit expensive, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. Nice, reliable place to live as a student.

Central Place is the best
Central Place is a great place to live. Nicest building and apartments I've seen (I visited 6-7 different buildings before moving). Beautiful amenities. Really convenient location for school—only 1 block from GUTS bus. Highly recommend.

Great Place to Live; Not the Most Social
This really is the perfect place to live. The only problem, and I mean only problem, is that you are an Uber or Metro away from all of your friends, bars, and restaurants in DuPont and Logan. Luckily, the Metro and the GUTS bus stops are literally right outside. Fast casual healthy food right next door is a major plus for me.

Rosslyn Reviews
However, this has been a business district for ages. There is very little going on around here and many of the restaurants don’t even open on the weekends. But, that’s changing. So stay tuned!
(Also, I like living in Virginia because my vote counts for more here!)
If you have long legs, renting a bike is an option. If you are like me and 5'1'', renting a bike is an option for downhill rides.
There is a lot within walking distance in Rosslyn (think 20 min average from my apt): Barnes and Noble, shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's (also on the Arlington loop shuttle from GU), public libraries, CVS, Target, Safeway, lots of restaurants.
Also close to dense populations of immigrant communities if you like Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean food.
Cons: Neighborhood shuts down after 5pm. Few restaurants in the neighborhood itself (this is getting better though). Concrete canyon effect because of the skyscrapers. Closest grocery store is an expensive Safeway.
