An "okay place to live" temporarily

No parking, amenities lack maintenance, building lacks security and has been entered by non residents and thefts were reported. Stolen packages, lacks management support. Parking on the streets doubles in price. No improvement have been seen from the management to this point.

Astor Court

I just moved into my one bedroom apartment this August. I can honestly say I was a little nervous moving into the city alone, but so far my experience has been great. The location is perfect for anyone looking to be near the Hopkins campus as well as downtown. My drive downtown is anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes and Astor Court is about 15 minutes away from Towson for all of your shopping needs. The Safeway grocery store is right behind the building which is also super convenient. While we have available street parking, looking for a spot can be a hassle sometimes. Also, it can get a little noisy at night, which can be expected of any city. If you don’t drive there’s plenty of public transportation options, with Penn Station located nearby. Overall, I am pleased with my decision to move into Astor Court. If you are looking for a cute and affordable apartment, with a convenient location, Astor Court is the place for you!

Astor Court

For a new Baltimorean, Astor Court is a good place to begin. It has one-bedrooms for less than $900 a month in a safe neighborhood with ample street parking. It's within walking distance to JHU and has a Safeway next door. The apartment is in a professional building with respectful neighbors and is spacious enough for one person. It even has a dishwasher. The only downside is the historic windows which let in a lot of noise and the dryers, which do not dry the clothes completely after their allotted 45-minute cycle.
