Good property and building
Love the apartment, the front desk staff is nice, the actual administration is ok in terms of responding to maintenance requests

Mila apartment
My experience at the Mila has been good overall. We have had some issues with our washer/dryer but other than that it has been a positive living experience.

Happy in MILA!
Love my apartment and the amenity spaces are great! I'm on the north side of the building facing the Pendry, which is not directly next to the building, so I like to think I get more natural light that way, although I can see into the hotel rooms pretty clearly. Management has always been highly responsive to maintenance requests, and I've only had minor ones. Receiving packages and mail is secure. The location is easily accessible to the Metra (less than 5 min walk) and not too far from Mariano's or Whole Foods for grocery (~ 15 minute walk). It's also nice to have so many Boothies as neighbors, but not too many that it's overwhelming. Downsides are the rent is expensive and sometimes the management can be difficult to reach over email/phone.

Everything you need for MBA
You’re close by to everyone in the booth loop community, which is a huge plus. There’s in unit washer dryer, and the convertible 1bed is a great, comfortable option. Enough amenities are included and it’s not as beaten down as MPP. Lobby is safely around the back (not Michigan Ave) and concierge is extremely friendly.

Expensive to rent common areas (150 an hour)
Facilities re a bitnold.
Need to be rented out which is expensive
73 east has better amenities
Make sure to get floor 18 or above to get better lighting

MILA review
Building has a good location and solid amenities. Some of the appliances and fixtures tend to break, which can be frustrating, but maintenance is responsive to request. Sometimes it can be difficult to get ahold of management for questions (lots of turnover), but they are very friendly and helpful once you get in touch with them.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
