Gem in Lincoln Park

I love the location and the apartment which is filled with lots of old character. My unit gets a lot of sunlight and I have a great view. I am very happy in my apartment and see myself here for a few years. this is truly a gem in Lincoln Park!!!!!!

Very nice place to live!

The apartment building is really great. I was looking for a one bedroom apt. in Lincoln Park for a long time before I stumbled across this building/unit and couldn't be happier with it. The elevator is a nice amenity (being on the 6th floor) but it does resemble something use on the Titanic. The unit itself is very spacious and does have a decent sized living room and bedroom for one person, and TONS of storage. The kitchen isn't modern but it isn't rundown either. I would definitely recommend this building to anyone looking to live close to Clark and Halsted in Lincoln Park that also wants a neighborhood vibe.

Great place, not so great people

The space for the price in this location is amazing. I don't plan on moving until I decide I'm ready to be a home owner, or my neighbors wear me out with their loud late nights. The building is great and the view is unparalleled, but the mgmt company isn't thrilled at the idea of making any upgrades without a lot of pushing. Overall, positive experience and great home, if you can ignore the other stuff.

Lincoln Park Reviews

Love living in Lincoln Park - so many good restaurants and parks around, and it's more removed from the busy downtown area. It's nice to have a little bit of distance from campus. There are multiple bus routes to the hospital (151, 22, 36) that are reliable and usually run every 15-30mins. I thought the commute might be bad, but it's the same amount of time that it previously took me to walk from my Gold Coast apartment to school, and I'm much happier living in LP. Only downside is that while it's cheaper than Streeterville/Gold Coast, it's still a pretty expensive area to live. Having roommates helps a lot and cheaper options do exist, but they're generally further from campus.
This neighborhood is great if you are mainly into packed sports bars. Other than that, though, it also has a variety of restaurants, many of which are BYOB, and there is a Whole Foods half a block away. You can also join the DePaul gym as a non-student for about $80/month. It's about 2 blocks away and has absolutely everything you would want.
Lincoln Park is a great neighborhood, lots to do and safe for the most part. This building is located between two L stops and on a busy street with a bus that runs frequently. The grocery stores are a bit of a hike, especially when Carrying your bags. Living next to the blues bars is good entertainment on late night, but can draw in a sketch crowd
Lincoln Park is the perfect neighborhood for anyone post-graduate and up. Great restaurants, fun bars, and close proximity to other popular Chicago neighborhoods, you really can't go wrong anywhere in the neighborhood. Mostly populated by college kids, young professionals, and new parents, you always feel safe when walking around. Everything important is within walking distance and when the weather is warm, there is nothing better than walking around Lincoln Park Zoo or the Lakefront Trail. Additionally, the red line, purple line, and brown line are all easily accessible. There are also ample bus stops and bike lanes.
I've lived in Lincoln Park for almost 3 years and absolutely love it. The area is relatively safe, there are tons of bar/restaurants, the lake is a short walk away, there are many public transit options and there's an overall energetic vibe since it's full of young professionals and new families.
it's an excellent neighborhood, right outside the lincoln park zoo. there are some restaurants and shops within walking distance. although you still have to walk a little bit, maybe 15-25 minutes. extremely safe neighborhood, very social. great for families
This neighborhood combines the ease of the city with the feeling of a more suburban neighborhood. There are many nearby bars, restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. At the same time, there are great schools and side streets that feel very residential.
This particular part of Lincoln park is great. It's a quieter area with a nice mix of young families, young professionals, and students. Easy access to many grocery stores. Unfortunately it's about a 12 minute walk from the el.
