Good-except you can hear neighbors
The apartment is a classic apartment. Nothing wrong with it. Walls are thin. People above us walk very loud and yell at each other. Wakes us up sometimes. Management is good.

Louder than a dorm
The apartment itself is very cute and the location is very convenient. We got lucky and have a unit that looks over the river and wooded area. The kitchen is a good size to have 2 people cooking at the same time and the living room is fairly spacious. There are plenty of windows and its very bright during the day. I had read reviews of the complex before moving in and the main complaint was that the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors. I was thinking it would be like living in a dorm. However, my neighbors are not as considerate as college students, so it can be very loud when everyone who lives around me is home, to the point where it is difficult to concentrate on what I'm doing.

Expensive Loudoun Hieghts Apt
My experience safety wise, is good even though its not a gated community and there’s no security. The rent is too much for a single student. The utility bills and internet adds up to even more in rent money + extra charges for sewer and garbage.

Better with roommates
Living at Loudoun Heights is overall a great experience with all that it includes at the price point. However, living with roommates makes this place WAY more affordable than living alone.

Good
It is a quiet residence area, good for students, and small families. Management is a little slow with response time but they make sure your stuff gets done.

Good
The apartment is good for what it is, it’s spacious and has a good management, it should not be an issue for someone just renting for the purposes of going to school. The only two issues that I have is that the water bill is split per house hold but does not take into consideration the number of people that live within an apartment (a 2 bedroom with 2 people will be paying the same amount for water as a 2 bedroom with 4 people). Also the walls are very thin so you can easily hear all of your neighbors.

It is very close to the Virginia campus. It's a pretty basic apartment.
