After a year of living here I can say it's one of the best places for the money and with convenient enough commute for us.

As a student with family, wife and young daughter, it was crucial to have clean place to live, with place nearby to for baby (playground, etc.), with elevators for a stroller (not a brownstones' steep and dangerous stairs), hardwood floor, easy commute and affordable price.

The building and apartments are clean, we have contemporary elevators, enough space for all of us, decent quality interior and PATH trains to commute to the school. We have few places to pay with my daughter. As for price, that's the best deal I could find in Jersey city, it's a sellers' market.

Generally, Greater NY ares is poorly suited to family needs, 3rd world social infrastructure, but in Jersey city we found best of all that. Good place to stay while studying, but not longer.

Looking at several other apartment buildings in this area I found that this is one of the least expensive and apartment conditions were good for family with the baby.

Pros:
- 24/7 concierge, convenient for deliveries
- gym, small but pretty fits our needs
- clean
- hardwood floors
- washer and dryer inside the apartments
- location - good neighborhood, close to Liberty Park
- Pool, open on summers

Cons:
- No children playroom
- No common area for parties
- Pretty loose quality of construction (same everywhere), in winter windy nearby windows
- heating is via A/C (same everywhere, even in much more expensive buildings), noisy, not constant temperature

Pros: Light Rail on the same block, Grove PATH ~10 min walk, Biergarten, walking/delivery from all cool Downtown JC restaurants, 24-hour Concierge, parking.
Ok: Gym, Rooftop (summer) Pool.
Cons: Yet to be impressed by the management (had key/access issues during our move-in). Will update based on my experience with the maintenance staff.
