Nice experience

This apartment has a relatively low price. And the surrounding is nice. Not too far from school and you can also go to Chaple Hill to have fun. The leasing officers are very nice and helpful. They rotate officers every week or two. So sometimes you will get different answers from them. One thing is that this apartment does not have anyone to pick up garbage. You are supposed to throw the garbage at the recycling center. Also, you need to remember to keep your carpet clean. It can be really annoying that you got a bill before you moving out especially the first floor.

Getting around Chapel Hill

It's very quiet: mostly graduate students and some families. Very convenient for getting to McColl. It is tucked away in the corner of campus so if you want to walk anywhere, it takes about a mile to get into campus. I would recommend having a car for this neighborhood since there are no grocery stores within walking distance.
Love being right on Franklin street. Walking distance to football games and tailgates as well as restaurants and bars on Franklin.
Lots of food options around the building. I regularly walk my dog in the area around the apartment.
The neighborhood is mostly for other UNC students.
Carrboro is really cool, if slightly offbeat place to be. Weaver St Market and a bevy of other restaurants/smaller places make it a good food hub. For things going on, there are things like the Carrboro Arts Fest, weekly "Carrboro Street Markets" with lots of vendors, and a flurry of other community-oriented activities.

Have enjoyed my time there.
Lots of stores, gym in neighborhood, church, groceries--basically a little town. Con is that it almost feels a bit "Pleasantville." That said, the Walmart up the road (<2 min) is wonderful as is Fig & Honey and the huge Harris Teeter (<5 min away) in Chatham county. Families and children amidst Med School students and retirees. Great feeling, awesome convenience to UNC and downtown CH. Highly recommend.
Neighborhood feels super safe. Little kids will like the playground on-site. Lots of friends for them to play with. Elementary school (Glenwood) is awesome, if not old. Plenty of community events to meet people and for kids to play. I like it here, and recommend it to most people.
The neighborhood is very convenient for business grad students, however, it is far from everything else. You need to get a car for everything, except going to school. It still compensates, given that uber is cheap in the region and the convenience to go to school is amazing.
