Best apartment experience in Raleigh

I’ve lived in Raleigh for 7 years since I went to undergrad here. I’ve lived a lot of different places and this is by far the best. There’s good visitor parking, the building is clean, the office staff and maintenance are very responsive, the area is safe and walkable, and there’s not a ton of noise.

Apartment

The apartment's location is excellent. It is a short drive (no more than 8 minutes) to Campbell and is located in Cameron Village. Management was not the greatest and the rent is pricey; however, I can see this being a good location for a first year primarily because of its location.

Excellent

The apartment is only a 6 minute drive from campus and is right beside Harris Teeter and the Village District which has a plenty of good restaurants and stores. Everyone that works there is super friendly. They have LuxerOne which sends you a text when a package has arrived and a password to enter the package room. There is a nice office space that is good for studying and a billard room. The valet trash is amazing as they pick it up for you five nights of the week. Maintenance is extremely quick to answer request, but we have only had to contact them once for a clogged sink and have had no other issues. The parking deck and building is very secure. Additionally, we are given a number to a sheriff that lives there that will accept our calls 24/7 if needed.

Great place to live!

Great location to Campbell, only about 6 minute drive away. Great location to gym, shopping, groceries, and restaurants. Always feel safe, and spacious. Only downside is price and communication when things go on around the property (such as construction/roadblocks/fire alarm issues) are lacking sometimes.

Experience at 616

I have lived at 616 for almost 2 years now and have loved it. The location in the Village District is great as there are tons of restaurants, coffee, and two grocery stores in walking district. And Glenwood (for post pandemic fun) is only a very short and cheap uber away. The management has also been very good the last two years and I would venture to say I've had virtually no complaints. Also being so close to State it is nice that not many undergrads live here which keeps it relatively quiet with mostly young professionals. Parking is also nice as there is plenty of it, including for guests which can be a rarity at many apartments.

This neighborhood is wonderful. There is a small strip with restaurants, a hair salon, yoga studio, and other shops connected to the apartment complex. Cameron Village is just around the corner and an easy drive or walk! There is easy access to all major roads in Raleigh. Downtown and Crabtree are each within 10 mins drive, and North Hills is only 15 mins away! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the neighborhood feels very safe at all times. There is also easy access to bussing off Oberlin Road.
Harris Teeter is directly beside the apartment and the district has many great restaurants. There are also great stores for clothing or other items such as books (Barnes and Nobles).
Great place to live with everything you need in walking distance.
I feel pretty safe in this neighbor. I go on a lot of walks and runs in the area. However, I do try to take my dog out before it gets too dark/too late
great walking neighborhood, always safe, easy to access, great location.
Chik fil A close by, restaurants nearby.
A block off Glenwood South is great. Smoky Hollow nextdoor is about to open with more shopping and dining. Only a 12 minute walk up to Campbell, or 15 minutes to get to Fayetville Street and the rest of downtown.
I live right across from St Mary’s and it’s great to be able to walk to school and everywhere downtown Raleigh!
