Move-in can be stressful, everything else has been great
Clairmont Reserve is an attractive housing option because it’s close to campus and cheaper than many complexes in the area. My partner and I have loved living here and are signing on for next year as well - it’s quiet, the renovated apartments are really nice, they allow my rodent pet, and it’s a 20 minute commute to campus for me through the Starvine shuttle. The only reason it lost stars for us was because moving in was a nightmare, they called us 24 hours before move-in to inform us that they were pushing back our lease start date because renovations weren’t finished. We worked out a compromise, but I know others who had similar issues with move in. It was very stressful. But once you’re here, it’s a really nice place to live.

Good
It is extremely spacious. It is a townhouse that has 3 floors and each floor has its own thermostat. The common area is very spacious and the kitchen is large with lots of storage. There is also a garage and a short driveway as well as a deck on the second floor. The top two floors get a lot of natural lighting, but the bottom floor doesn't get as much. It's a quiet street and close to the Clairmont campus if you want to take the shuttle.

I love Clairmont
So far it's been extraordinary. There's always parking available, the amenities are fantastic. You get free printing, access to the pool and gym, and there's a password controlled package room to keep your packages more secure. Also, the maintenance guys have been really nice and have helped us out a lot.

Great place
Close to campus. 20 minute walk to school and 5 minute walk to the shuttle. I don’t have a car so it’s very convenient.
Quiet area and management is good.

Clairmont Reserve
Reasonably convenient location (short drive to campus/walkable if you have a decent of time, easy walking distance to get groceries). Management is receptive and quick to address repairs, but maintenance/upkeep work does occur fairly frequently.

Clairemont Reserve
This is a very convenient apartment complex for Emory Graduate students. I think it is fairly priced for the amount of space.

Clairmont Reserve
My apartment is right across the street from Emory's Clairmont Campus. I love how I can walk across the street, hop on the Emory C Route, and be dropped off at the door steps of the SOM within 20 minutes consistently and reliably. (I did not have to buy that $600+ Emory parking pass.)
The recent renovations to the pool area and gym look nice. I've never had a problem with mail. Management does not intervene often.

Great place to live
Claremont reserve is a great place to live if you want an inexpensive apartment and you prefer to walk/ride the bus to school and avoid the expensive emory parking pass.

Great location, ok facilities
Excellent location and price. 5 minute walk to free Emory shuttles, and then 10-15 minute shuttle ride to class. Can also do the walk in 20-30 minutes on a nice day. Direct walking access to the Lullwater Preserve with a lake and many walking trails, as well as a whole other trail network. Quick drive to downtown Decatur, which is a great place with great food/bars. Parking is cheap ($40/car/year) and available, no undergrads and many professionals/families so is fairly quiet, nice pool, gym is small but fine, easy access to SAAC gym (membership included in Emory tuition). Pet friendly (except for numerous prohibited dog breeds unfortunately), and several facilities for them. Fairly responsive and helpful maintenance staff, decent online resident portal. Some two bedroom places even have working fireplaces.
Downsides: Apartments are definitely on the cheap side. Old ones still have gross yellow walls, fake wood floors, carpets are not in great condition, and apartments are not very spacious. That said, all appliances generally work and are serviceable. Every place has a balcony (two bedrooms much better), but not many windows. Fairly small closets. Management company is not always very responsive/competent/communicative, and have numerous issues with water outages from AT&T cable installation work around the complex (hopefully resolved now?). Address does not always show up for Lyft/Uber drivers, so generally need to stand at entrance to find them (but food delivery seems to work fine). Cannot easily walk to any food/bars/grocery stores (~20 minutes), although is a very short drive when traffic is light.
TL;DR - Good location to get on campus, facilities are fine, good spot as long as it stays cheap and affordable. If you want more high end, this is not the place.

Realllly like it
I really like living at Clairmont Reserve, especially as an Emory student. I either bike to class or take the C route shuttle from the Clairmont campus, which is extremely convenient (it runs every ~5 minutes from 5am to 11pm). We also have a complex gym, which is nice and close. I know Clairmont Reserve is a little further from the "fun" parts of Atlanta, but I'd rather drive a little further to socialize and come home to a nice, quiet place to study. And I really like having a balcony! Last thing - Clairmont Reserve has one of the best pet policies around here (no monthly fee!), which was vital since I have a cat.
