Safe, quiet, clean apartment complex great for someone who wants to live alone with or without a pet.
I really have enjoyed living at Copper Mill since I was a 1L. I have been in the same exact apartment, and I have always felt safe and secure there. It's a clean complex, and the apartment was renovated and clean when I moved in. It's very quiet, and you can't hear other people in their apartments. The third floor apartments have skylights in the vaulted ceiling, which is really nice. It has a real, wood burning fireplace which is lovely. It's very spacious with a walk in closet for only being less than 700 square feet. Tons of storage space. Well-utilized space and design. If you have a dog, there is a great walking trail that goes all around the complex.

Safe, clean apartment in close proximity to Short Pump
The apartment itself is clean and recently renovated, although originally built in the 1980s (so sometimes hard to heat/cool well). The neighborhood is very safe with lots of families and children. It is located in close proximity to any shopping you could need to do.

Quiet, safe, affordable
I feel like I pay an appropriate amount of money for the location, but it might be on the pricier side if I'm being honest. However, the apartment was repainted, carpets replaced, and professionally cleaned among other things before I moved in. Management was gracious and helpful; maintenance is very responsive. I really like the neighborhood - it's a lot of families, and it feels very safe! The only negative is that it is an older complex, so sometimes it doesn't heat as well as I'd like.

West End Apartment
Convenient to 64, 95, 295 and 288. Located on broad street, only a couple miles from Short Pump Town Center as well as the fan.

Great Place for a Quiet Person
This apartment is very nice for the money and is a very quick drive to work. It's also right across the street from a Kroger, a Sam's Club, Costco, and other places. It's a 5 to 10 minute drive to Walmart and other Short Pump Mall stores.
The apartment has free parking and free fitness center membership. The fitness center is small but nice and it's easy to find time when it's very unoccupied. There is also a walking trail around the apartments. The management is nice and has been fair to me so far.
My apartment is very nice for what I pay. The layout is great and everything works well. I even have a wood-burning fireplace (in a 3rd floor apartment!).
The ONLY unfortunate thing about this location is that it's sorta far from more "fun" areas like The Fan, Shockoe Bottom, etc. It's a perfect location for people like me who are mainly introverts and don't do a lot of going out. When I do go out I usually have to drive about 20 minutes to get to The Fan and then find parking. However, if you enjoy being on your own and doing a lot of shopping, this is a great palce.
