Home for a couple or family
This collection of duplexes and townhomes is safe with easy access to 55/70 for commutes to Downtown STL. The neighborhood is quiet. There are not many children, but plenty of people walking their dogs.
It is on the more expensive end of the spectrum, especially considering that you must pay all utilities. It has washer and dryer hooks-ups, but they do not come provided. However, the two car garage is nice, especially in the winter.
As a unit, it makes more sense for a couple or family to rent as the two bedroom are very different sizes. It seems more like a stepping stone to a more permanent home (whether that’s here or somewhere else after law school).
Unfortunately, the management has not been especially cooperative. They resist even minor changes to the unit provided by the tenant (smart thermostat etc.) and the management office does not always reliably contact maintenance with issues. Conversely, any visits by maintenance personnel have been helpful and professional.
