Okay apartment
Appliances aren’t all that new but you get a pretty decent sized apartment for what you pay for and the neighborhood is nice. Management is okay, responds to things fairly quickly.

About Central West End
Central West End is, perhaps, the most popular neighborhood in St Louis. The neighborhood borders Forest Park, home to both the St Louis Zoo and the Art Museum, and quite a few other activities, including mini golf, hiking, and boat rides on the lake. Central West End is also home to the Cathedral B...

Central West End Reviews

I absolutely love the Central West End and recommend it to everyone in St. Louis. In my eyes, there's really no better place to live, unless you are looking for something a bit more budget friendly, and in that case head to our wonderful neighboring community of Tower Grove! The Montclair and Park Frontenac are very affordable options in the CWE. The CWE is filled with beautiful historic homes and buildings. You could spend years learning about all the history of this place. It's also the most walkable neighborhood of STL and you have dozens of bars and restaurants out your doorstep. Also, plenty of spas, fitness centers, doctors, and even Barnes Jewish Hospital all in the area. Forest Park is steps away making the CWE the best place to live! There is still a bit of crime on the outskirts of the CWE (and it has increased with Covid), but the community hires extra security that walk and patrol every night, and the whole neighborhood is very well lit. If you are smart and aware, and avoid walking alone late at night, it is very safe. I have yet to feel in danger in the past 2 years. Highly recommend!
The Central West End has a young professional vibe and feels more like a big city than other areas of St. Louis. Apartments in CWE can be a little more expensive than similar apartments in other areas of St. Louis, but the proximity to the law school, public transit, Forest Park, and night life can’t be beat.
The Central West End is the ideal because it is both entertaining and very safe compared to other parts of the city. On the weekends especially, there is a lot going on here. Many of your basic needs are within walking distance, and if not, they are only a short 5 minute drive away.
I prefer living in the CWE as opposed to downtown area. There are a lot of young professionals, grad students, professional students, etc. in the area. It is just a block away from the Basilica, which had added patrolling security, making the area feel very secure.
Love the central west end, it is such a cute area with lots of places to walk to. I think it allows me to separate work from school because its about 10 minutes away from downtown.
This place is really cool to be next to. I love being within walking distance on coffee and the library. There are also a number of nearby grocery stores and restaurants.
The neighborhood is extremely safe and beautiful. The apartment is within short walking distance of Forest Park and the main part of the Central West End
There's always something happening in the CWE; it's a big social hub. It can feel (and is) unsafe at some times and in some places.
