Dominion Towers

Nice neighborhood, easy to get to DC or places in VA. Nice apt with lots of space, responsive maintenance. The only drawback is that trying to get to and from DC during rush hour or busy hours can take a while. Also, no easy access to metro unless you take a bus first, so I end up driving a lot, but Lyft and Uber are not too expensive from the apt building into DC if you want to do that instead.

Lots of sunlight

Great apartment with lots of sunlight. Management is great and responsive. Apartment is affordable and one of the few buildings in the area that allows pets. There is a pool and a gym, which is nice. My only issue is the washers and dryers - there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers per floor and they are constantly broken despite numerous complaints.

Getting around Columbia Pike

Columbia Pike Reviews

Alcova heights, sort of suburban very quiet and very safe but walking distance to stores and restaurants.
Nice and diverse neighborhood. Up and coming. Safe and convenient. Lots of options for food and drinks. Close proximity to DC and Tyson's Corner. Lots of new construction.
I love Columbia pike. It is affordable to live here.
Close to many grocery stores, convenient stores and many restaurants. Very quick to Pentagon City metro station or Clareden metro station
The neighborhood is very family friendly. I can walk, bike, or bus easily to the metro/Pentagon City mall or bus/bike to the law school. Walking distance to fair assortment of restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. on Columbia Pike. Neighborhood is dotted with parks, tennis courts, short bike path, and other recreation.
Absolutely lovely place to live. Lots of food options in a highly diverse neighborhood.
Been built up a lot in the last few years with a Harris Teeter in walking distance. Lots of metro bus lines right outside the door with a shuttle to the metro
More working class up and down the pike, no bars or anything of that sort. But close enough to Ballston and Shirlington.
