Great Location, Slightly overpriced

I lived here for 3 years, the apartment is in an excellent location, right opposite the JHU homewood campus and is a great place for JHU students to live. The management is responsive and efficient. However the apartments do tend to be slightly overpriced compared to other housing in the area.

Good Experience

Right next to the circulator, security in the lobby in the evenings. The super of the building is great and fixes problems within the day, even if they aren't particularly urgent. The leasing office can be a bit inconvenient to deal with. There are little no no amenities, but it's affordable, safe, and comfortable.

Charles Village Reviews

Charles Village is right in the heart of Baltimore - every where in the city is at most a 15-20 minute drive and every major bus line runs right through Charles Village. Honestly, you might not need to leave very often - there are tons of bars, music venues, and the Baltimore Museum of Art all right here.
I'm right next to campus, so there are a lot of security patrols, and it feels very safe. Most of the renters in the building are students too, which helps.
Close to JHU, which means too many undergrads. But lots of older students and families too. Restaurants are decent. Public transit is good. Safety is above average for Baltimore.
