Ivy at Fairfax Review
Ivy is in the process of updating all these apartments, so if you get one with new appliances, it can be nice. Overall, I really like my space. That said, you get what you pay for in terms of amenities and maintenance. The common areas aren't kept in pristine condition, elevators are often down (although now they have two working, so it presents less of an issue), and often maintenance comes to "fix" something but it never actually gets fixed. Management is also pretty non-responsive to issues. If you're willing to put up with these annoyances occasionally, some of the renovated apartments can be almost as nice as many of the (much more expensive) apartments that other professional school students tend to live in. Though I'd recommend coming to see your apartment in-person first to make sure it matches the descriptions.

Review
It’s been great. More expensive than my first apartment south of law school, but closer to stores/restaurants. That being said, there is a new Jewel-Osco (Safeway) going in on 61st.
