Quiet, sunny on the third floor

Mac Apartments is very responsive to maintenance requests. The apartment is in very nice shape. My neighbors are nice and quiet. There are a lot of students.

It is literally the best street to live on in Hyde Park if you go to the law school!

Great Location

This apartment is very spacious and in a great location for being close to the UChiacgo campus and local groceries stores. If you are looking for a place with lots of amenities or a social aspect I would recommend looking elsewhere but if you want an affordable place in a good location this is ideal.

Spacious and convenient

The apartment is very spacious and convenient to campus. It lacks in-unit laundry or a dishwasher, though, which make the price somewhat difficult to justify.

Worth the price

This is a nice walk up-style building which used to be a family housing complex for Seminary students. The apartments are well kept and secure, and there is lots of space. There is a laundry room in the basement as well as large storage lockers and other storage for bikes, etc. The location is very convenient to the law school and the restaurants on 57th St. Lots of street parking is available right in front of the building. Of course, the price is somewhat high given that there is no doorman, in-unit laundry, or dishwasher, but as a matter of square footage and proximity, it is a good value and a great choice for a single or engaged/married 1L.

Once Was University Housing

I was deeply disappointed with my experiences when this was university housing. I would not recommend working with them. They do not respond well to emails or calls and did not inform me they were selling the apartment. Would not trust university housing with anything. my new landlords Hyde Park Property Management have been really nice and accomadating though, so that's good.
