Great location/management; old building
Great location for anyone working in the hospital and management is very responsive to emails and repair needs.
Unfortunately, it is extremely noisy during the day because of nearby construction. The apartment is also very old and dirty and the utilities are not well kept. That said, when things break down, maintenance is very fast to respond. Walls are not very well insulated either so cost of heating/cooling can get expensive.

Closest you can live to the main hospital
This building is nothing fancy, but it meets all of my needs and is the closest you can possibly live to the med school/hospital. Very practical location during clerkships & sub-is. Those extra 5-10 min of sleep in the morning are so valuable.

Great and convenient place to live, old building with no amenities.
Experience has been great here. Units themselves are great if you clean them and decorate, however building is old and kind of dingy. I tell my friends the inside of my apartment looks nothing like what they see when they walk in the building.

Convenient location for medical students
I have enjoyed my time at Bradford House. It’s impossible to live any closer to the hospital than this location, which is great for early mornings on clinical rotations. The apartment itself is bright, has big windows and plenty of space for two people. It is also much more affordable than the newer luxury apartment buildings in the area.

Bradford House 1BR/Studio
The location can't be beat. It takes me less than 2 minutes to walk to the med school. The building itself is very average and outdated, so if aesthetics are important to you, this probably isn't your spot. Perks include not having to pay for water, heating/gas, or parking, and getting a free storage unit in the basement. Laundry machines are in the basement - there is a $180 annual laundry fee. I hear neighbors when they play loud music, but footsteps/voices aren't really a problem. I am veryyyy sensitive to noise, and I've been ok so far. Except during the summer when the A/C unit was very loud, but I just slept with earplugs in during that time and it is now freezing here so it's not a problem. Oh also, it is located across the street from Angelo's which has great omelettes. One downside: I do have to worry about theft when I order packages. So I'd recommend getting an Amazon locker or making sure you are home when packages are delivered so you can get them from outside immediately.

Med Student in Bradford House
It has been very helpful living so close to Taubman Library. Being walking distance to downtown has been a really good bonus as well. It is a bit more expensive than what my classmates are paying but I really value living close, especially in the winter.

Great location
Bradford house is a great location close to the medical school, and an easy walk to central campus, kerrytown, and the downtown area. Management has for the most part been easy to work with, and laundry is unlimited. The common areas are pretty run down, and offer few amenities beyond laundry, but the apartments themselves are very nicely kept up.
