Good Apartment Depending on Your Expectations
I've liked my apartment and haven't minded either of the management companies that have directed it while I've lived here. All my maintenance requests have been attended to quickly after I made the request, and aside from one week of construction in the apartment, during which management made every effort to keep my apartment clean and provide me another space to work in, for the most part it's a quiet area. It does become necessary to compete for parking spaces late in the evening, unless you pay for an assigned or covered spot, but it's always possible to find at least one space.

A fair start for new Law Students
These apartments aren't anything special, but mine is very large for a one-bedroom. There are some issues because the buildings are older, but management has always replied promptly to any work order request I send in. The rent is kind of expensive, as utilities and internet are not included and overall run to at least another $200 per month (not including cable). The distance from the school is a convenient drive.

Great apartments, great area, requires car.
If you are dependent on Trimet to get to campus, I don't particularly recommend the Mountain Park area (which is a fantastic place, just poor Trimet service). If that's not an issue, this area (and these apartments!) is great! There are lots of hiking trails, you get membership to the Mountain Park Rec Center (which is right next to the complex!), and the views are great! The complex itself also has a nice little clubhouse and a pool/hot tub. The one real downside is that it's not super walkable to places (so having a car really makes a difference).
