Berkshire Main Street reviews and highlights
- excellent building amenities and beautiful facilities
- plenty of parking available
- close to center of social life
- one of the best gyms of any complex in the area
- pricey compared to similar buildings in the area
Great amenities and close to Station Nine/9th st
I've enjoyed living at Berkshire Main for the most part. The building was mostly empty this year because it's brand new. It's nice living in a quiet building near S9.

Nice new apartment, but management could be better
The apartment complex is almost a year old and when I moved into my apartment it was brand new, which was great. Although there were some minor maintenance issues at the beginning (to be expected considering the newness of the apartment), the apartment itself has been great. The only downside to the apartment is that the windows are not sound proof, so if there is anyone below who is talking you can hear them fairly well. The gym is fantastic and there is a nice grill area outside. The biggest downside to the apartment complex has been the management's lack of communication and miscommunication on multiple occasions and they are almost always coming up with new rules (some of this due to the fact that it is a new complex, but others seem unnecessary).

Fancy building, good location
Berkshire Main is a good place to live in the 9th street area. It's really close to the center of social action for Fuqua students, but it's not too noisy. If you live here though, be sure to live on the back side of the building (farther from the train tracks). If you live right next to the train tracks, it can be very loud! The building amenities are also excellent. If I had to do it all over again though, I'd likely choose to live even close to campus because the walk from the blue lot adds 15 minutes to my commute.
