Cheap for a reason
A cheap option if you want to live without a roommate, but the buildings are very old and outdated. Plenty of parking. The apartments are poorly insulated and the windows aren't fitted properly so it costs a small fortune to heat in the winter. None of the appliances are energy efficient, so my electric bill also runs a bit high. Management is pretty responsive to maintenance requests for small stuff but things like mold (which has been visibly growing on the ceiling since before I moved in) and bugs go ignored. There's currently some kind of animal living in my wall, I'm guessing a rat, so that's not ideal. One major police raid since I've lived here, occasional canvassing. Basically, if you can afford to live somewhere else, do.
