Management is responsive, professional.

This apartment is fantastic. It’s the ideal size for me. It’s fully updated with a modern kitchen and bathroom including a dishwasher and a good amount of pantry, cabinet, and closet space. Air conditioners are supplied by management for the summer months. There’s a code to get into the front door of the building and an additional lock on your door. Laundry is in the basement for free if you get a unit without it’s own washer/dryer. Mail is safe, just be sure to give the delivery company the code to the front door so your packages won’t get left outside. Maintenance responds quickly to requests. The apartment itself is three blocks from school which means I can go home for lunch if I want to and get to class quickly and easily. There are fantastic restaurants near by and a bar on the corner for post-exam celebrations. The street itself is well lit snd well traveled and I have never felt unsafe. I/ within the PennRide system so it it’s late one night, you can get dropped off no problem. My neighbors are clean and quiet. I really like this apt, I really only have great things to say.

I love the price of rent and my apartment is huge but that comes with its own burden of dealing with bad management and pests. It depends what you want to deal with!

I've lived here for two years now. During that time management has undergone several changes (all for the worse). The units themselves are spacious and the rent is cheap and there's lots of free street parking around.

The building is run down and is not kept that clean. It's also difficult to get the landlord to do anything, and when he does it's generally not up to standard (i.e. my bathroom ceiling was leaking, I complained about it for months before he sent someone in to fix it. The 'handyman' tore the wall out but didn't replace it, so for three+ weeks I had a gaping hole in the wall and the leak wasn't fixed)

I love my apartment. There is so much storage and so much space, especially considering what we pay. Everyone who comes to visit out our apartment comments on that. The management is super responsive and really considerate. I would for sure recommend it to anyone. I love the area too. There are a ton of families and what feels like a dozen restaurants within a two block radius. There are three different grocery stores within a 15 minute walk (one a close as one block away). There are also a few bars within a shot walk. There are two septa stations close by, each no more than a 10 minute walk. I have never felt anything but safe in my area and my apartment.

This is a great apartment building for graduate/law students and indeed, many of the individuals who rent here are enrolled in some form of post-grad schooling.

The apartment is amazingly spacious and the landlord has been really receptive. It's not the newest building but thus far I've run into no problems. It's about a 15-20min walk to campus and is located on the bus route and a few minutes walk from the trolley line and the market Frankfurt line. PLUS it is right across the road from Supremo and under a 10min walk to two other grocery stores! There's also lots of free street parking.

Located in the Spruce Hill neighborhood of West Philly, the studio is in a quiet building mostly occupied by graduate students.

Very safe, quiet neighborhood with everything you could need within walking distance. The building is really well situated for public transit and, though not particularly glamorous, everything is in working order and the management is really diligent about fixing anything that goes wrong. The studio is quite large for a single room apartment and has an efficient floorplan - lots of closet space! The apartment is very warm during the winter, but does get hot during the summer. Cat friendly.

Not a lot of bells and whistles, but a safe, quiet location and a very responsive landlord.

The management company just renovated the building at the beginning of this year so that the conditions of the building (elevator, carpet, paint) have been largely improved although the building is old. I used to have mice issues in my unit, but the maintenance guy was really helpful and solved the problem in a relatively short period of time. Most tenants in this building are graduate students so that it rarely gets too noisy in the building. Good value.
