Do NOT move here!

1 management rating Reviewed by on

I have been a resident of Landmark since 2014. When I first moved into the complex it was absolutely beautiful! Grounds were well kept, environment quiet, friendly neighbors, and most importantly it was a SAFE environment. Over the last almost ten years I have seen drastic changes, with the most important being the complete downfall of the community. I am always in awe of how different it is now compared to when I originally came. Neighbors are always hanging outside in large groups all times of the day. Children are playing loudly outside with absolutely no parental guidance or attention. Music is blasted ALL NIGHT long interrupting my sleep and quality of life. You will NEVER sleep here and will average about 3 hours of sleep nightly due to Latin music blasting all night until sunrise. Management will do nothing about it when noise complaints are consistently reported. If you do choose Landmark at this current time your safety will be a concern, you will lack sleep due to noise, and the apartment community you live in will have trash and prior residence belongings still left on balconies and otherwise throughout the apartment grounds. Consider what is important to you and if all the above mentioned are, move elsewhere.

Avoid

3 management rating Reviewed by on

I'll say the only good thing going for this place is the location. It is conveniently close to everything you will need. Other than that I would avoid. We have had nothing but water problems here. I do not know if it is because the pipes are old, thin, or just made of glass. On three separate occasions we have had our apartment flooded due to the maintenance staff "fixing" things and majorly inconveniencing us. Even with that aside they have had to shut off the water due to emergencies way more than any normal apartment should. Also take note that most of the appliances are older and we have had to have them fixed on multiple occasions. There also seems to be problems with the AC or insulation here because you will be paying between $275-$400 a month on a two bedroom apartment.

Cheap and Decent

6 management rating Reviewed by on

Wood flooring in living room; washer and dryer; carpet in bedroom; great maintenance team; stainless steel refrigerator; family-friendly; balcony; spacious closet with mirrors and shelves; uses a key fob.
Free covered parking. Right across a Super Target and Costco. Plenty of fast food options, grocery stores and the Hulen mall.

Cons: My apartment in particular needed a lot of cleaning before moving in and the walls are thin.

Really Nice Spot

I've been here for all three years and I love it. Pet friendly, plenty of space, and the community is really nice. I like my landlords. The maintenance is unreal good. Every time I put a work order in it is fixed the same day.

don't move here

Apartments are dingy, maintenance does the bare minimum when they actually answer service requests. I feel like I got catfishes by these apartments.

Although the apt I got was not in the best shape, this apt does the job. Free covered parking. Purchase internet through Spectrum. Bought a couch, desk, and bed. Lots of closet space. Has a small dog park and 3 small pools. Has a gate. Right across from super target, Costco, chickfila, QuikTrip

Ellicott House Apartments is very nice and located in a great neighborhood. It is approximately 10 minutes away from AU by car. The property management should update the gym facility since most of the machines are outdated.

My apartment is small and efficient for my needs. It is not the most luxurious accommodation, but you get what you pay for! I commute about 30 minutes each day into Boulder and my boyfriend commutes about 30 minutes into Denver. The location can't be beat.

Great Space

Hardwood floors, upgraded kitchen. The maintenance staff is quick to address any issues that arise, and the front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The bathroom and heating/cooling system could use an upgrade, but overall a really great space all around.

Quiet, Safe, Overall nice place to live

8 management rating Reviewed by on

Ellicott House has been a pretty good apartment building. It's pretty quiet, other residents are friendly enough and the gym and pool for resident use are a nice touch. The gym could use a bit more weight equipment, but they lack room for more. For those who depend on public transportation, the walk to the metro is a bit far, but manageable. The staff is always helpful, and I feel very safe with the controlled access to the building.

Nice place to call home for now

One of my favorite things about my apartment is my dry bar. The maintenance responds to requests rather quickly as well. I really don't have any complaints about the apartment in general. It can be a bit devoid of natural light, so plant owners beware.
