Review of Apartment
The management is really slow with getting maintenance done, and can be flakey a lot. However, it is close walking distance to the HSB and relatively good pricing for a 1 bedroom. It came fully furnished as well, so I did not have to worry about buying furniture. I did bring a desk and chair from home but that was it. When I first moved in, the property manager was an hour late and unresponsive, and the apartment was not clean at all - I had to deep clean it, and there were some things broken that were not replaced until 4 months later. There are no amenities but it is a spacious apartment and the location is ideal.
One bedroom legacy at powelton village
Management is spread pretty thin so they are not very responsive but eventually your requests or emails will be responded to. It’s a decent property for the price and location however there are no amenities like gym or doorman to help with packages. I have had no issues with safety but based on previous reviews, that have been issues before. Overall, it’s not a bad place to live
Horrible !!
Don’t go there. I don’t advise anyone to rent one of their apartments. These are scammers who don’t make the security deposit and who don’t care about you. This is unacceptable because they are trying to get you. I am French and never in France have I had this type of problem. I am very disappointed and I would not let the incompetent staff do it, even if it means taking legal action if necessary! I know that as I am a young French girl, they want to rip me off but I wouldn’t give up !!

Student Living
Great safe place to live in a central location. Takes 15 minutes to get anywhere.
Fairly nice place to live
If you want to live in the city then this is not the place for you. These apartments are technically in Philadelphia but they are in a more residential area. That being said, the area is not necessarily that safe. Although it is quieter than being in the city, there's still crime that happens nearby basically every day.
One thing I really like about this apartment is the safety fob features. However, they recently stopped having 24/7 concierge service, which makes me feel less safe. Other than that, the apartment is really secure.
I love my apartment unit itself. The appliances are brand new. The space is huge and you will get so much space for the money you pay. The floor plan is beautiful and I really love the apartment unit itself. The apt also has a downstairs study area which is great for students, and a gym which is very convenient. There is also a free coffee/hot chocolate machine. Maintenance staff is very helpful and addresses problems quickly. The leasing office sort of ignores emails sometimes, but they are in Mon-Sat so if you have questions you can always go up to them in person and ask.
If you have a car, you will most likely be placed on a waitlist for parking since there are not enough spaces for everyone. But, street parking is definitely not too hard to find (unless you usually get home very late). Overall the place is nice, it's not in the most exciting area but it has everything you need and is safe. If you want an apt with a lot of in-unit space then this is a great option for you.
Difficult to get lease, good unit
Difficult process getting lease and viewing apartment that I would get. Not great transparency in unit that is promised. Apart from lease process apartment is good and close to campus.
Designed for Students
The apartment complex is designed for students so each floor has its own theme. There’s a game floor, study floor, gym floor, conference floor and a rooftop patio with nice furniture. The roof top currently is not accessible, which is a bummer. There complex has an outdoor yard for barbecuing and suntanning. There’s free on street parking but it is first-come first-serve. Each individual in an apartment unit has his/her own lease that is independent of the other apartment mates. So rent and electricity is paid on an individual basis which is very neat.
