Pricy but worthy

Unbeatable location, 5-min walk from Marshall, tons of restaurants and groceries nearby. The rent is high, but the high management office quality and location still make it a perfect choice.

Wildwood is a great place to live

Wildwood is an amazing place to live. It is close to campus and provides spacious rooms with a lot of storage space. It is also a quiet community perfect for studying for classes.

It’s fine!

No complaints other than the parking garage. It’s so filled that people have to park in non marked areas making it difficult and dangerous to get around.

No maintenance and lots of trash

There's just no maintenance. We're having a leak for months, notified them and nothing happens. Also, there's lots of trash everywhere.

Good besides move-in date

Great renovations and amenities, can be pricey but is close to the school. The heat and air isn't centralized and the walls are thin.

2nd year in Wildwood

I like the walking paths within the complex and the nice pool area. The maintenance is very responsive and nice. The gym is also the best that I have seen in an apartment.

Decent and Cheaper

This complex is not too bad. The major benefit is being within walking distance of the school (about a mile) and very nice interior. There are some problems with management but otherwise, not terrible for a first year apartment.

Nice Unit, BAD Management

1 management rating Reviewed by on

My unit is recently renovated with an in-unit washer and dryer. It is spacious, quiet, and close to campus. It is not the safest area and dealing with management is a nightmare. They do not address maintenance requests and are not consistent.

Did not like the furniture for the furniture provided option and had to furnish the unit from scratch. I love the view, great gym, friendly staff. Overall, I think it's a great value for what we're paying.

Very Expensive, Poor Management

1 management rating Reviewed by on

I like my studio and the amenities provided. It is very close to campus. However, Terrazul is ridiculously expensive and you do not get what you are paying for. The garage is dangerous and impossible to enter or exit without scraping your car on the concrete wall. Parking just for a standard spot is $125 a month, yet there are never any spots in the garage after 8:30 pm. Management refuses to fix the problem, even after being reminded that they are violating the parking agreement. They have yet to install a parking gate that would only allow in paying residents. The security guard at night does not answer the phone or have access to parking records. If you don't find a spot, you have to park at FIU and walk in the dark, which is very risky and mind-blowing, given that parking is so expensive. There was no hot water in the apartment for the first month, and it continues to be lukewarm for multiple days a week. There are practically no security measures, as you need a special device to get into the elevators, but not the stairwells. Delivery people are free to deliver things right to your door. The ceilings in bedrooms and living rooms are not done; they still have writing on them from construction workers. You can tell everything was designed very cheaply and quickly. Management does not care about the safety of their residents.

:/

It's okay - not the best management but not the worst, pet friendly but it's expensive, terrible parking even though it's paid parking, and extremely unsecure. However everyone is nice?

It doesn't get much better for student housing

The great: Right next to campus, has a parking structure with relatively easy-to-find spots, lots of amenities and places to study, management often hosts events, comes furnished with nice, modern furniture, and has a very modern look overall. You can choose around what floor you would like and which direction you would like to face when signing your lease--I have an amazing upper-floor sunset view.
The good: Hallways often get dirty but the staff cleans up the mess pretty fast and management is so far responsive to complaints. The trash service works pretty well. The price of parking is pretty standard but still expensive, but a $50 option for tandem parking is available. The apartments are small for their price, but overall pretty well laid out.
The bad: THE PETS, residents are allowed to have animals in their apartments which leads to messes, especially in the parking garage. Barking also occurs at many hours of the day and while you can file a noise complaint, it is debatable if management does anything. However, this seems to be a fact of living in student housing as many of the off-campus apartments allow pets.
