Kenect is alright if you're young and single
Access to the co-working space was by far one of the best parts of this apartment, because I had a dedicated office space to study and this proved to be useful when the campus (and Owen specifically) became packed right around midterms and finals.
The proximity to all the bars right at your door step is a double edged sword. It's great if you're social, but sometimes can be a hindrance to sleep when music from the bars is blaring into 2 or 3 AM. I recommend getting a higher floor, so you're not as close to the music & noise.
On the topic of noise, that is also an issue with the thin walls between apartments being so thin. I could sometimes hear my neighbor's conversations.
Always felt safe here though. No issues with parking or car safety. Mail packages are delivered to your door by the concierge.
Overall great
The amenities and services of my apartments are overall great. But the rents are higher than other properties near campus.
Kenect
Got it because it was close to the school and a friend had lived there before I came. Not a huge apartment, but does good enough for me. Sometimes we get power outages but nothing crazy.

Kenect Nashville
I live in the smallest available apartment here at Kenect, which is a 360sq.ft. studio. The place was brand new and is close to campus, which is a big plus. It definitely is on the pricier end of available apartments, especially for what you get, but it is a trade-off between distance from school and cost. The building has a gym (nothing too fancy, good enough) and a great pool deck on the 7th floor. The apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows, which is nice. The neighborhood (Midtown) is safe and only really crowded during the nighttime, as there are a lot of bars here and the scene is vibrant.
At the end of the day, it all boils down to personal preferences. I was warned that the studio would be too small, but living alone it really is not that much of a big deal.

This apartment meets a lot of connivence factors. It's a short walk to Vanderbilt's campus and is fully furnished (only in select apartments). That being said, it can get pretty noisy due to thin walls. Additionally, management is okay (friendly, but can be unprofessional at times).
Very good but expensive
Kenect is the closest apartment you can get to the Law School and that level of convenience is super helpful. The rooms are small and not cheap but are new and well-furnished. The utilities (internet specifically) are fairly pricey. There are a good number of social events for residents to connect with one another.
