Beltrami

Beltrami is the smallest neighborhood in all of Minneapolis and lies only minutes away from the University of Minneapolis. Downtown is also only a couple minutes away, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the city-life to spice up their suburban lifestyle. Giacomo Costantino Beltrami first explored the town’s area back in 1825, giving the neighborhood its name. A statue of him still stands in town to this day. Beltrami Park is a popular spot for locals to visit to get together and socialize. It features plenty of green space to walk dogs, volleyball nets, and a soccer field.

Beltrami residents recommend taking a short trip outside of town whenever hungry or thirsty. Luckily, all of the restaurants and bars are only a couple minutes away, so the trip is never a hassle. Restaurants in the area include Brasa Premium Rotisserie, Eli’s East, Red Stag Supperclub, and Kramarczuk Sausage Company. Bars for drinks include Sporty’s Pub and Grill, Blue Door Pub, The Peacock Lounge, and The 1029 Bar. Beltrami is great for anyone, especially for students who want to live in a small-town setting right by their college classes.
