The park features an ice rink, athletic fields, swimming pools, and tons of green space.

The residents of Northwest Ithaca recommend a trip into the city when thirsty or hungry. Most of the highly-rated restaurants and bars reside there. Bars that are great for a round of drinks with friends include Rhine House, The Westy, Lot 10 Bar and Lounge, and The Range. Restaurants in the area include Maxie's Supper Club & Oyster Bar, Taste Of Thai Express, The Rook, and New Delhi Diamond's. Northwest Ithaca is a great town for anyone who wants a peaceful atmosphere while having a quick commute to their classes at Ithaca College.

Northwest Ithaca — 7.3/10 Rating (based on 4 neighborhood reviews)
It is a quiet area, with views of the Lake. You do have to drive or Uber to the commons or the Cornell Campus, which can be annoying. Definitely not the area for someone who wants to walk to the bars.

However, it is very quiet and peaceful, and the rent is less than it would be downtown.

It is right on the bus route, that goes right to Sage Hall, so great for students. it is about a 12-15 minute drive to campus or a 20-25 minute bus ride.

It's a little bit outside of downtown, but is just 10 minutes away from everything. About 10-15 minute drive to Sage Hall, and there is also a bus you can take that picks you up outside of the complex, right to Sage Hall. You can't walk to anything, however, and would need a car to get around.
