Edgewater is a borough located along the Hudson River in New Jersey. Its a vital suburb area for many families and professionals who work in Manhattan, and it has its own character, too. Edgewater boasts some of the best shopping in all of Bergen County, such as Town Centre, the Binghamton Shopping Plaza, and Mitsuway Marketplace. Most of the housing in Edgewater was built after 1969, so the historic charm is prevalent. There are many older Victorians and row houses on the cliffs, as well renovated factories and newer luxury towers. A commute into Manhattan is very easy with the New Jersey Transit buses, the New York Waterway Ferry service, or by car over the Gorge Washington Bridge.
